Our story starts in 2016. In New Orleans. Casilda Malagon and Stephen Welch were invited to speak at a global conference and deliberately decided to do something different. We proposed to play a game. One where participants world work in teams to solve business challenges while discovering a new way of thinking and practicing being a business leader. After the conference, the feedback blew us away: “what a great concept!”, “the best workshop I have ever been to at a conference”.
Then, some participants asked us to go to their companies and deliver something similar for their teams. And so Archetypical was born. Sort of. We did ad hoc projects for a couple of years, as a sideline to other work. Then, one snowy day in Kew Gardens in 2018 we decided to incorporate and set things up on a proper footing. Since then, we have grown our offering, worked with some amazing clients and developed an online version of our games. As co-founders, Stephen and Casilda developed our methodologies and approaches, and we license them to clients or colleagues in various countries to help them make an impact.
We bring policies to life
In eight years we have delivered programmes in eight countries, across North America, Europe, Asia, and Australasia.
We work with academia, private companies, governments and international organisations.
We have helped them roll out policies looking at gender, ethics, codes of conduct, and leadership excellence.
Through a global network
We have a network of colleagues that deliver Archetypical workshops in the UK, Australia, Canada, and the United States.
We mainly work in English, French and Spanish, and can do other languages on request.
